In light of the recent LinkedIn password breach we thought we'd let you know about password managers, a system and process we use to store all our hard to remember and secure passwords in one place, encrypted, and accessing them with one secure password. We believe this to be more secure than using a few easy to remember and not so secure passwords.
Open Source refers to software that has been developed and released with the source code open and available to everyone for download and redistribution. This allows any expert developer to be a part of the development team and contribute to the development, testing and bug fixing, ensuring software is not only developed and improved at a very fast pace, but thoroughly tested.
A customer recently asked me for advice on how to speed up their office computers that have been running quite slow lately. There are quite a lot of reasons this may happen so I decided to document a few of the top ways I use to identify and remove the causes of a slow computer.
