Grants of up to 50% of eligible project costs to a maximum of £2,000 are available to the Heads of the Valleys businesses.
Grants are available to:-
- Residents of the Heads of the Valleys setting up full time businesses (normally for the first time or after an absence from self employment)
- Persons or enterprises located outside the Heads of the Valleys that are setting up or relocating full time businesses within the Heads of the Valleys area
- Existing businesses within the Heads of the Valleys undertaking new capital investment
Generally businesses and start-ups in all business sectors may be considered (excluding retail).
There are grants available for Caerphilly and Merthyr and other areas of South Wales.
